First of all, I'ld like to thanks Sabrina Grigolo, Marco Cerutti for the high level professional towards all the partecipants and for the high scientific contents. Thanks for the extensive bibliography transmitted, as well. I'm a psychologist and I believe in the cure of the word. The  patient and relatives' words are very important for to create alliance and confidence in the medical. It seems take plenty of time to take care of the cure of the "persons'words:it's a valuable investment. Talete said: we have two ears, two eyes and one mouth: patient is an active  person who need and want to be listened to: I'm  deeply in agreement with their and the Heppy project too.

Thanks to Dr. Vilma Duretto for her too kind words and to all the health carers, the professionals and the teachers involved into the HEPPY project.

I’m so proud of being part of such an ambitious and articulate project and, as I, together with Dr. Sabrina Grigolo (who I wish to thank particularly), have collected a lot of narrations from the health carers involved, I can testify that they can really help (not only disabled) people: I was in a sort of little depression when I joined the project, and being “constrained” to read every day these testimonies made me think about how many people have serious health issues, but they don’t give up. This fact helped me a lot to come out from that black tunnel, and knowing that with my work I could give them a despite little help, makes me proud and happy to wake up every morning to do it.

This project was very important for the contents but most of all for the importance it gives to the relationship between persons who need care and persons who take care. I think it's useful also in the medical equipe, to give a different point of view.

Good morning everyone. My name is Ignazio Curreli. Firstly thanks to Dr. Sabrina Grigolo for giving me the opportunity to participate in this module n. 7 of the project Heppy. In this way I could get to know the Narrative Medicine and the Methodology Pedagogy of Parents.

I was delighted to discover that many of the concepts in this day are in tune with the theoretical and clinical practice that inspire my work (I work as a psychologist in a public health service that takes care of Pathological Addictions). This was encouraging for me. I have been impressed by the tales of personal and professional experiences made by the participants. I have heard touching testimonies of health workers and professionals consider important not only their technical skills but also his own feelings of human being.

if you can I involve family members in the therapeutic process, in addition to the patient, I consider it indispensable in my work as a psychologist, but also in other types of healthcare pathways is a way to make everyone participate thus achieving greater synergies and better results, in addition to reducing the risk of onset of conflict. But it is more challenging in the initial stage and, not infrequently, it requires a greater involvement on the part of operators, even in terms of a questioning of themselves.

Even I, first of all, I would like to thanks Sabrina Grigolo, Marco Cerutti and the other teachers and organizers. I agree with Vilma Duretto (I also am a psychologist): I believe in the cure of the word. We have less and less money to spend on care but really the "persons'words" it's a valuable investment. The patient and relatives' words are very important from the standpoint of psychology, but not only. The PNEI (psycho-neuro-endocrino-immunology) a new area of research, tell us the same thing. I believe that these are the new frontiers of care and that the Heppy project step in the righ direction. Thanks for everything.

Participate to this training on narrative medicine will be for me a bettter chance through which to communicate with other professionals, particularly doctors. The use of  words and storytelling in psychology is important, is the clarification of individual worlds hidden in the individual stories.

The seventh and last seminar of the HEPPY 2013 course outlined a provisional balance of the activities performed so far, of the possible results and of the expectations for the future.

In particular, Dr. Grigolo illustrated “historically” the assessment methods used in the project and their potential applications. I found the BES (Fair and Sustainable Well-being) project especially interesting: its indicators overcome the limits of a purely economic GDP by including other indicators of well-being, such as health, social relations etc.

Professor Zucchi went into the etymology of the word “evaluation” which derives from the Latin “valeo”: This means “I am well”, thus evaluation implies valuing. He went on to say that an empathic approach to care includes the idea of a “new patient” but clashes completely with the protocols currently followed in hospitals. The latter have been imported from the USA to meet the needs of Insurance Companies and clearly represent a “defensive medicine” based on GDP rather than BES.

Another important concept illustrated is that of Hope Pedagogy, an integral part of Parental Pedagogy, which implies saying the truth with hope.

The morning ended with comments from participants: feedback, suggestions and future expectations concerning the HEPPY Project.

I am very grateful for professional work and successful project implementation to Ms. Sabrina Grigolo and Mr. Marco Cerutti.

I am very happy to be a part of HEPPY project as it help me grow professionally and personally through organised project activities those took place in Lithuanian Multiple Sclerosis Union. I am very thankful to Ms. Aldona Droseikiene, who invited me to take part in some project activities and International discussions on health issues. I am Project Manager and Reiki Master and i believe that all together we can create a better future for all. This project gave a possibility to take a closer look not only to the patients but also to the needs of health care system professionals and health workers. I hope that this project will have a financial possibility from the EU to continue what started with all project partners in the future.

With all my respect to All.

Before partecipating this project I felt that evidence based medicine was not all in my working life but I though that I was alone. Now I know that we are many and many that think that our patient , before being a disease is an human being, with sensations, fears, loves, doubts. When we are in front of a patient we must ,at first, think what we would like to have if we were that patient: not only scientific results but also attention, time, sincerity, listening. It's possible only if all health carers are able to integrate each others without frontiers, for patient well.

To validate sensitivity towards patients id difficult to do and even more difficult is to give feedback to someone who is involved only in medication and do not want to see the patient as wholistic person and even worse it is with those carers who do not have the skills to create realtionship with patient and are in a way "mechanistic“ in their care for patients
